About Me...
I've done a million kitchens. From volume track condo kitchens to NYC apartments to lovely suburban mainstream once-in-a-lifetime kitchens, to truly state of the art, fabulous suburban and resort kitchens.
I'm a CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) and NKBA member....Rather than go on and on here, if you have a few moments, check out the "Company" page on my website,
www.Company page-kitcheninteriors.com
and you'll get the whole scoop. Just scroll down to "About Us" to get to the specifics and then a little more, to view the "Press" section to see some of what I've been up to. The nutshell version is this: In addition to having a CKD designation, my work has been widely published in national magazines over the years, I've served as a mentor, speaker, and frequently, a go-to source for editors seeking insight on kitchen design, trends, products, and more. In 2001, I built, what was then, and remains today, the only online community for professional kitchen and bath designers. This blog, thekitchendesigner.org, is the most widely read blog on kitchen design, authored by a professional kitchen designer.
Suffice to say that I'm kitchen obsessed. And, I like to reinvent the wheel any chance I get.
I'm happy to have this blog to talk to you and share my thoughts on a variety of subjects relating to kitchen design and remodeling. I've always LOVED to write, and have always found reasons to write over the years, including writing much information on kitchen design as well as many articles on running a kitchen and bath design firm, for my peers. So, this is my lab, a more relaxed professional place to hang out and talk to you. Please join in the conversation.
