Looks great. I can't wait to read more. What kind of wood is the cabinet in the first photo?

Mark, I'm not sure, I'm thinking teak or walnut, both great, right? I'll check for you.

Anna, "absolutely beautiful" if I do say so myself! ;-) I'm glad you like it.

Erinn, glad you like it too. I'm really very crazy about this cabinetry, this concept, this look. I think it's something special. Let me know when you're ready!

The wood in the second image is teak.

Thanks Susan... love the teak!!!

I do too Mark. Most of all, it's refreshing to see a different wood like this, in cabinetry, and in such a way as to simply appreciate the grain, rather than be distracted with moldings, panels, etc. (not that there's anything wrong with that look too!) ;-)

Kathleen, yes, that's the word, beautiful!

blackcadillac73, great to see you! European (but don't tell anyone just yet!)

I am loving the teak. I just did a renovation with a teak wall in the kitchen and 100 year old reclaimed teak on the floors and stairs. I think it is an under used wood. I am glad to see it in there wonderful cabinets.
