Modern, Rustic and Antique Scandinavian Kitchens

A small eclectic collection of Scandinavian kitchens for your viewing pleasure. These kitchens have nothing in common except for their heritage! Bold color, antique elements, rough texture, often white-as usual...I hope you enjoy the inspiring images. Do you have a favorite?

Do I have a favorite? The second picture of course. I LOVE white with hardwood floors, and that bright red glass backsplash is hot. Don't know if I would choose such a bold color, but it definitely looks gorgeous.

The fourth picture from the left - there is something about the use of the white color that catches my eye. Accent color and flooring also work for me.

The last picture ... looking at the hood and then the cabinetry ... is that a kitchen made out of plaster, or carved stone? Interesting!

Connie, I'm not surprised!! And, yes, it really it outstanding, I totally agree with you. What is it about red? And that's a gorgeous red too.

OnlineH,it really looks serene, calm, ahhhhhh.

Adrienne, hi there! When I saw it close up, it looks fairly rough, so I bet it's stucco. I've done stucco on a hood before, over plywood. Easy and so authentic too.

I love the kitchen in the second photo. The red looks really attractive in the white background. Thanks for sharing!
